New Life Preschool Director
Miss Kristen is New Life’s Family Pastor as well as the New Life Preschool Director. She graduated from Westminster College in 2012 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. She taught 1st grade for several years before becoming New Life’s Children’s Pastor in 2016. God called her to start New Life Preschool in 2022 and the program continues to grow! Kristen loves leading the staff and working with parents and students as they navigate the beginning of their school years. Kristen is married to her husband, Jake, and they have two children.
Jennifer Lutz
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Miss Jenn is New Life Preschool’s Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. She graduated from Westminster College in 2012 with a degree in History and Secondary Education. She was a middle school social studies teacher for four years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Now, she finds herself back in the classroom three days a week with the cutest four-and-five-year-olds around! Her favorite part of teaching is seeing a child work through something difficult and then be thrilled to finally figure it out!
Melanie Turk
3-Year-Old Teacher / Pre-Kindergarten Classroom Aide
Miss Melanie is New Life Preschool’s 3-Year-Old Teacher and Aide for the Pre-K Class. She graduated from Messiah College in 2004 with a degree in Psychology and Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She graduated from IUP in 2007 with a master’s degree in School Psychology. She worked in Special Education and was a Guidance Counselor before she became a teacher at New Life Preschool. She has been teaching preschool for a few years now and loves working with the little kids. Melanie is married to her husband Dan, and they have two incredible children, Ally and Jonny.
Shari Infante
3-Year-Old Classroom Aide
Miss Shari is the 3-Year-Old Classroom Aide. She graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and from Duquesne with a master’s degree in Special Education. Over the years, Shari has taught in different public and Christian schools. She has also worked as a Paraprofessional at Knoch Middle School and High School. Shari loves seeing all the students’ different personalities and how much they learn over the year! Shari is married with three children.
