Pastor Alex DeRosa
Lead Pastor
Pastor Alex has been on staff since February 2014, when he served as Youth Director. His primary role as Lead Pastor is to serve the New Life Church Family and the New Life Staff Family through casting vision and leading spiritually. He is married to Rachel and they have 3 young sons – Ezra, Joel, and Kai. Pastor Alex’s favorite animal is the peregrine falcon and his favorite color is orange!
Pastor Chris Marshall
Founding Pastor
Pastor Chris and Nancy, his wife, started New Life on April 8, 2001. In addition to serving as Lead Pastor, he has led or been part of dozens of foreign mission trips in Cambodia, China (including Tibet), Cuba, Haiti, Honduras, India, Laos, and Mexico. He also mentors pastors and leaders locally, regionally and internationally. Pastor Chris and Nancy have two adult daughters – Abby and Emmy, and three adult foster daughters – Teresa, Yukina, and Yumiko Kuo.
Nancy Marshall
Office Administrator
Nancy joined the New Life staff in December 2013 as the Office Director, however, she has been with New Life since day one as the wife of Founding Pastor Chris. Nancy has worn many hats over the years and does a lot of behind the scenes ministry. Her main roles are in communication, scheduling, and church database management. Nancy’s favorite part of her job is working with the New Life Staff and ministry teams.
Pastor Barry Leicher
Executive Pastor
As the Executive Pastor, Barry’s responsibilities include staff oversight, fiscal compliance, and strategic guidance for any key initiatives or projects New Life undertakes. He joined our team in late 2014. A developer at heart, the best part of Barry’s job is when a leader takes their next step or when a well-executed plan comes to fruition on time and under budget! Barry is married to Leslie, and they have three amazing kids!
Pastor Kristen Weidner
Family Pastor
Pastor Kristen has been on staff since July 2016, where she served as our Children’s Pastor for 7 years. Her primary role as the Family Pastor is to oversee the family ministries here at New Life, such as New Life Students, New Life Kids, and family events. She also serves as the New Life Preschool Director. Kristen is married to Jake and they have two amazing kids, Jackson and Shiloh!
Pastor Sam Fahnestock
Discipleship Pastor
Pastor Sam joined our staff in August 2023. He oversees the discipleship and engagement of the New Life Family with the goal of helping people take their next step in surrendered living to Jesus Christ. This includes ministries like small groups, membership classes, and engaging with guests. Sam’s desire for New Life is to continue growing into a place which makes disciples who make disciples (2 Tim. 2:2). He is married to Brittany, and they have three awesome children, Elijah, Atley, and Deacon.
Daniel Michel
Director of Administration
Daniel’s responsibilities at New Life encompass the areas of Accounting, Finance, Policy, and Human Resources. Daniel enjoys taking a systematic approach at building systems and processes that best serve the staff and the New Life Church Family. He and his wife, Jessica, have 3 daughters. They both appreciate a good cup of coffee and enjoy exploring nature through hikes and outdoor activities.
Hudson Fuller
Worship Director
Hudson oversees all creative aspects of weekend worship, from music and technology to helping facilitate an atmosphere of worship. He gets to lead and be a part of an amazing team of volunteers who serve with the goal of honoring and proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ in every way. Hudson also has the pleasure of leading and directing worship within the New Life Students ministry.
Corey Beacom
Director of Operations
Corey oversees the dedicated cleaning and security teams that make sure when you come to New Life you feel safe and welcomed. Corey has been called to volunteer in several capacities, like serving in the youth ministry leading students and planning games, as well as several mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Honduras. He enjoys making others laugh with his stand-up routine and uncanny ability to recall almost every movie. Corey’s dog, Zeb, can be found sniffing and causing chaos to those around him.
Matt Bartlett
Director of Student Ministries
Matt started working at New Life in March 2021. As Director of Student Ministries, his goal is to serve, equip, and send out leaders to serve the students in our area. He leads our weekly student ministry, aptly called New Life Students! Matt also helps, when extra hands are needed, with the IT work at New Life. He and his wife, Lisa, have 4 children.
Danielle Hite
Outreach and Care Coordinator
Danielle oversees the ministries of care, engagement, local outreach, and missions. She strives to achieve double Kingdom impact through equipping teams to care for individuals both inside and outside the walls of New Life. Danielle’s responsibilities also include overseeing Stephen Ministry, the Greatest Needs Ministry, coordinating funeral services/luncheons, local community events, and mission trips. Danielle joined the team in 2017 and enjoys building relationships with New Life’s local, regional, national, and international mission partners. She has served on mission teams in Malawi, Cuba, and Honduras. Danielle is married to Mike and they have 2 adult children.
Lorrie Nelson
Children’s Ministry Director
Lorrie has been on staff since October 2018, when she started as the Nursery Director and Children’s Ministry Coordinator. Lorrie now oversees the New Life Kids Team and Ministry. Her main goal is to ensure your children know the name of Jesus and that they are loved by Him! You will see Lorrie’s smiling face each weekend when you bring your kiddos to The Galaxy at any weekend worship service. Lorrie has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
Erin Mialki
Reach Director
It is Erin’s goal to reach those who do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Erin firmly believes that we reach people through relationship, and so she seeks to build relationships with people that come through the doors of New Life and those who visit our online platforms. Her areas of focus are the New Life website and social media, along with the online worship services. Erin also designs all the print media and graphics at New Life, along with her assistant, Reach Administrator, Camden Miller. On the weekends, you can find Erin chatting it up with the New Life family (in person and online). On occasion, you will see her singing with the New Life Worship Team or serving with the Connections Team. Erin is married to Matt and has two sons and an adorable corgi.
Stefanie Dietrich
Office Coordinator
Stefanie’s job consists of scheduling, communication, and ensuring things are prepared for your weekend worship experience. Stefanie’s goal is for everyone to know that they are never alone, no matter what they are facing. “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:8. Stefanie is married to Dave and together they have 2 wonderful children, Austin and Elaina.
