Children's Nurture Goals

At New Life, we strive to partner with parents in teaching children the love of Jesus in such a way that he/she come to a saving knowledge of Him as their personal Savior.

We do this by:

Supporting, encouraging and upholding the children; Sharing Jesus' love, grace and forgiveness with the children; Providing age-appropriate worship, nurture, discipleship and ministries for the children; Affirming every child and lead them to experience the joy and significance of belonging to God the Father, knowing Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and living in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Teams of dedicated servants provide teaching and helping hands for each group setting. All team members have proper clearances on file.

If you would like to serve on one of the children's nurture teams, please let any of the team leaders know. You will be contacted with more information.

Parent Responsibilities

All Ages

 Complete a Registration Form for each child. www.NewLifeXn.org – Kids Own worship – lower right box.

 Get a wristband for you and your child each weekend. These will be matched at dismissal for security.

 Go to Facebook – search for New Life Christian Ministries Kids Own Worship. We'll friend you! Information on the teaching point will be provided for you to use at home in your family time.

 Communicate with the group leader if you have any concerns or would like more information about New Life's children's nurture.

Nursery – Birth to Age 3

 Please provide a diaper bag and appropriate items such as diapers, bottles and a change of clothes. Please label everything.

 Due to allergies, please do not provide any food. Animal crackers, dry cereals and water will be provided for the toddlers.

 Please do not send personal toys. They may accidently get mixed in with the nursery's toys.

 Get a wristband for you and your child. These will be matched at dismissal. For your child's safety, there are no exceptions to this.

Kids Own Worship – Ages 4 through Grade 5 – Saturdays, 6:30pm

 Register at the Welcome Table. Get a wristband for you and your child. Your child will go to the Worship and Praise area. Following worship and praise, lesson and activity time will be held. Children will be dismissed to the adult wearing the wristband. For your child's safety, there are no exceptions to this.

Important Information

Bibles

New Life uses the Hands-On Bible – New Living Translation.

If your child needs a Bible, please let one of the Children's Nurture Team leaders know and one will be provided to your child.

Special Activities throughout the Year

Kid's Fun Time is scheduled throughout the year. We may be at Bounce U or Chuck E. Cheese or swimming at SEBCO! Family activities are also planned at least two times per year.

Information on these activities are provided at the Kids Own Worship Facebook page, Children's Nurture welcome Table, on New Life's webpage – www.NewLifeXn.org – and in the weekly New Life News (emailed on Thursdays to those on New Life's email list).

If you would like to suggest a group activity, please let any of the Children's Nurture Team leaders know. We'll be glad to follow up on the suggestion!
