Busy? Stressed? Short with finances and concerned how to plan for the future? God has called us to steward all the resources and blessings He has given us. Our time and treasure are no different. However, we often feel powerless or overwhelmed when it comes to these two key areas. Join us as we explore what God has to say about our time and treasure, and uncover some tools to equip us to flourish going forward. Sign up on your Connection Card to attend New Life University’s “Biblical Stewardship – Managing God’s Time and Treasure!” class. The class will meet every Monday, January 22-February 26 from 7:00-8:30pm.
We celebrate infant and child dedications the weekend of February 10-11. If you would like to have your child dedicated to God, please check the box on your Connection Card. A Pastor will meet with you on Saturday, February 3 following the 6:30pm worship service for the dedication instruction.
MORE WAYS TO GET CONNECTED
It’s time to connect online! New Life uses a technology called “InFellowship” to help stay connected with you online. We want to let you know about this important platform because this year we’re providing year-end giving statements through InFellowship. Through your InFellowship account you also have the opportunity to sign up for small groups and register for events here at the church. Please take the time to connect with us online by setting up your InFellowship account. It all starts at newlifexn.infellowship.com/userlogin/new! See the insert in your Connection this week for step-by-step directions.
Spare Change Saves Lives! Last year, New Life families donated over $5,000 in “spare change” to support Life Choices, a local outreach center that helps to save babies and empower local individuals to make wise choices for life, sexual integrity, and creating healthy families. Baby bottles are available this weekend for you to take home and fill with your spare change, or you could write a check made out to Life Choices! Filled bottles must be turned in by the weekend of February 3-4. Thanks for helping “change” and save lives with your change! Are you available to help distribute baby bottles before worship services? Please contact Team Leaders, Ella Sahli & Colleen Sahli, at 724-352-3315.
Starting Point – If you are new to New Life or are looking to learn more about who we are and what we believe, stop at the “Next Steps” area for more information and to sign up for our Starting Point class. Starting Point is the fourth Sunday of the month, so the next opportunity to attend will be January 28 during the 11:30 worship service.
Are you ready to take the next step? The February GROWTH TRACK classes will meet at 11:30am the first three Sundays in February. Stop at the “Next Steps” area to sign up for one or more classes. There is no better way to get plugged in to the New Life family than by completing Growth Track.
